Rick Figured Out Our EVs Software In What Seemed Like Seconds

I just got a new EV and could not figure out how to do anything. Rick got in my car and literally figured the software in what seemed like seconds, hooked up my phone, showed me how to navigate and answered all my questions.

Rick Coached Us - Helped Us Install Solar Remotely

We had this solar system partially installed, and the installer just bailed on the job, left it unfinished and took off with our money. Some of the panels were mounted on the racking, but nothing was connected, and the rest were sitting in the garage collecting dust. Rick came out, took a look, and documented everything. Then over the next few weeks, he guided us through completing our own solar array – from installing and plugging in the panels to wiring the inverter to the house and the grid. He did all that from his initial survey and then just over the phone and video calls. Saved us thousands of dollars, and today we have a fully functional grid tied system. Rick's really good at explaining things so you get it.

I knew nothing about EVs until he stepped in

I can’t recommend Rick Denzien and Drive The Future Consultants highly enough. His work has changed my life for the better. Purchasing an EV was a scary step for me . A complete life change as I knew nothing about EVs until he stepped in. Rick patiently guided me through everything. He helped select my perfect Chevy Bolt, navigate rebates and test drives with ease. He installed a sleek home EV charger in a day ! I gave Rick a hard time because I had so much anxiety over the unknown but I must say Rick was right about everything. Now, I enjoy a fully charged Bolt daily, saving on gas and aligning with my eco-spiritual values. His passion for sustainability turned me into an EV advocate—I even join the EV shows which are more like live music festivals where you can network and help others learn about EVs. If you’re new to EVs, Rick and his crew will guide you effortlessly, delivering top-notch results.

Case study

Freeing a wedged 60-ton digester lid

Before EVs, problem-solving was the job. In January 1998 a tilted, wedged digester lid at the Phoenixville (Pa.) Wastewater Treatment Plant was eased back into place with Kevlar air bags in about four hours, for under $10,000. Rick took the call and sketched the air bag approach on the phone.

Common EV questions we can help with

A few quick answers. Rick goes deeper on a call and in his Demystifying EVs talk.

How do I get started about deciding to buy an EV?

Start with how you actually drive: daily miles, longest regular trip, where the car will sleep at night, and your budget. That usually narrows the field to a few models. A free first call with Rick is a good place to do exactly that.

Aren’t EV’s more expensive?

Sticker prices vary a lot, and used EVs can be very affordable. Look at the total cost: fuel, maintenance (no oil changes) and insurance as well as price. Note: the federal $7,500 clean-vehicle tax credit ended for vehicles acquired after September 30, 2025, so plan without it.

Is driving an EV hard to learn?

No. Most people are comfortable in a day. The new parts are one-pedal driving, the screen and app, and charging habits, which is what our EV driver training covers.

How long does a battery last?

Modern EV batteries are built to last the life of the car, and automakers back them with long battery warranties (commonly 8 years / 100,000 miles; check your model).

Can batteries be recycled?

Yes. EV batteries are valuable, and recyclers recover most of the lithium, nickel, cobalt and copper for new batteries. Many old packs get a second life as stationary storage first.
